Our Process
1. Introductions
This will be easy. Simply call us at
2. Site Visit
At the site visit we’ll gather all the important information we need. We can either speak with you on the phone while you are in your home, or meet with you in person outside, keeping a six foot distance. You are encouraged to share your drawings, photos and web links that reference what you are envisioning.
3. Design Considerations
Depending on the complexity of the project, we may suggest having the design done by our in-house team, or we may recommend a landscape architect in our close network. The design will consider your short term enjoyment of the property as well as the long term implications of durability, and environmental balance.
4. Pricing
Once the design has been established, our estimating team will go to work and deliver you a firm quote for all phases of the project. This pricing will only change if you choose to add new aspects of scope, and formal documentation will be provided. Our quotes are generally good for three months as material and labor rates vary from season to season.
5. Project Management Plan
During the pricing phase, we will provide a realistic timeline for beginning and completing your project. The project management plan will break this into phases to show you what to expect along the way. The project will be assigned a dedicated manager to oversee all aspects of material quality, field worker management, safety, budget, schedule and accountability to the original design. As the work moves along, any necessary decisions will be presented to you in advance of progress so you have time to consider any possible new information, such as soil quality or discovery of ledge.
6. Final Inspection & Hand Off
Upon completion, the project manager will go over every aspect of the work with you for your review and to ensure satisfaction. You will also be given a manual of any routine maintenance that must be performed such as tree fertilization, or pressure washing. The new installation is now yours to enjoy for years to come.
